Typical government new hire stuff. Did find out the patent examining niche (called an art unit) I will start in is "[Code] Compilers and Software Development". I'm eager to start lectures tomorrow. There's a first.
It's a much bigger place than I expected. Spoke to the facilitator of my orientation. I'm am 1 of 119 new hires. She says the people there are super pleasant and I couldn't have picked a better place to work. Now I'm eager to start.
